A study of the effects of implementation of multiple intelligence techniques and integrated thematic instruction on seventh-grade students.


The purpose of this quasi-experimental study was to test the effectiveness of integrating Multiple Intelligence (MI) techniques and Integrated Thematic Instruction (ITI) in improving student achievement for seventh grade students in junior high school. Seventh grade students of one junior high located on a military base were systematically divided into two groups with one group participating in traditionally instructed classrooms and one group of students participating in classes that integrated MI and ITI in their Math, English and Social Studies classes.
