CMUL has acquired all kinds of information resources both printed and non-printed materials as well as some electronic databases as follows:
Printed Materials are such things as books, theses, journals, newspapers, pamphlets, clippings, Thai Industrial Standards and so on.
Non-Printed Materials are such as recordings, pictures, maps, microfilms (old newspapers) and visual aids (VDO, CD-Video), for example.
Electronic Databases are database services through the CMU Internet network containing both abstracts and full-texts.
Eligible persons for electronic databases are faculty member staff, students, CMU personnel and employees, CMUL members holding a retired official and employee status, honorary members including augmented members of Types A, B and D.
Electronic Databases are classified into 5 types as follows:

3. e-Theses / e-Research
3.1 ProQuest Dissertations & Theses. These are databases of Doctoral and Master Degree levels in America and Canada and other regions covering all disciplines from AD 1997 – present.
3.2 Dissertations Full Text in PDF format of Ph.D and Master Degree levels covering all disciplines of over 3,850 titles.

3.3 Digital Collection is full text ranging from research, journal articles and other documents in ThaiLIS.
3.4 CMU e-Theses is a full text of Ph.D and Master Degree levels, including CMU Independent Study from AD1983 – present.
3.5 CMU e-Research is a database containing the research work of CMU faculty staff and researchers in abstract and full text.
3.6 CMU Scholarly Research Report is a database containing reports of the research work by CMU related scholars from 2001 – present.
4. e-Rare Books
These are documents 50 years old and older classified into 4 types: The Jakata, chronicles, funeral souvenir edition works and gazettes, including some rare documents of Northern Thai printed materials.
5. e-Northern Thai Information
5.1 Lanna Songs containing information on the history of Lanna folk songs. Online songs are played on the website http://library.cmu.ac.th/ntic
5.2 Lanna Food containing information on Lanna food with recipes, cooking methods accompanied by pictures and illustrations in both multimedia form and still pictures.
5.3 Lanna in the Past containing photographs taken by Mr. Boonserm Sastrabhaya, the senior local journalist. The collection consists of as many as 665 photographs taken between 1949 – 1992. In addition, there are some pictures of various places in the modern time to highlight the changes in some Lanna communities, in Chiang Mai in particular.
5.4 Northern Thai festivals presenting information on some important festivals and customs of Lanna.
